Chasing away flies can be done in many ways, but with the Bug-A-Salt 3.0 Orange Crush salt rifle it's considerably more fun. With its striking orange appearance you aim at flies, mosquitoes, spiders and other pests — and thanks to the improved spring compared to earlier versions the salt travels a greater distance with more speed. So you no longer need to stand right next to your target to hit it.
Aiming is smooth via the notch and front sight, which is handy given the small targets you're shooting at. The trigger requires little force, which benefits shooting accuracy. On top of the rifle sits a transparent reservoir that you easily refill with regular table salt — that's all you need. Load the weapon via the pump-action grip at the bottom of the forend, and you're ready to shoot. Batteries or other aids are not necessary.
Note: shooting in the direction of eyes or face can be dangerous. The Bug-A-Salt 3.0 Orange Crush salt rifle is not intended for use on people or pets. A safety catch prevents the weapon from firing unintentionally.
