Wool Brush Megaline - 1/8'' BSW Female

For maintenance of a firearm or air rifle barrel, the Megaline wool brush can be used in two ways. On the one hand, you apply cleaning agents with it into the barrel, so that dirt and fouling can soak in well before you start working with stronger brushes. On the other hand, you use the wool brush after cleaning to absorb the remaining solvents and loosened fouling.

In practice, the wool brush is most often used for oiling a cleaned barrel. Cleaning removes not only fouling, but also the protective oil layer — which makes the bare barrel susceptible to corrosion. By applying some oil to the wool brush and pulling it through the barrel, you quickly apply a new protective layer. A common step in every cleaning routine.
