Trail Camera Stealth Cam PX20

Get started right away without complicated menus? The Stealth Cam PX20 wildlife camera comes with a number of ready-made settings that you select via the rotating dial on the inside. Set the dial to the desired setting and you don't need to configure anything else; the pre-programmed settings are already ready. From the moment you select the setting, you have 30 seconds to close the camera and withdraw before it becomes active. The three so-called quick sets look like this:

• Resolution: 6 MP
• Time-out delay: 30 seconds
Quick set 2
• Time-out delay: 30 seconds
• Resolution: 6 MP
• Burst mode: 1 photo
Quick set 3
• Video duration: 10 seconds
• Video resolution: VGA (640x480p)
• Time-out delay: 30 seconds

If you prefer to determine how the camera behaves, the custom mode offers that space. You set photo or video and then adjust every detail to your liking. What you can adjust:
• Resolution: high, medium or low
• Mode: choose between photo and video
• Burst: 3, 4, 5 or 6 photos
• Delay in seconds: 5, 10, 15, 30, 60, 120
• Video (duration) in seconds: 5, 15, 30
Once you have adjusted the Stealth Cam PX20 wildlife camera to your liking, scroll to the end of the options list. Select Quit there; the countdown from 30 seconds to zero starts and once it reaches zero, the camera is active.

With 14 IR lamps, the wildlife camera achieves a range of 20 meters. If anything moves within that 20-meter radius, it responds in 0.5 seconds and captures photos or video — depending on your settings. Storage is on an SD memory card, with the Stealth Cam PX20 wildlife camera accommodating a card up to 32 GB.

In addition to photo and video, you'll find a handful of practical functions in the menu. A brief overview:
• Reset: reset to factory settings
• Time: set the time
• Date: set the date
• Delete SD: use this function to format the SD memory card
Handy to check in advance whether the camera covers the right area: use the rotating dial to select the Test function. When the dial is on it, a green light will turn on as soon as motion is detected — so you can immediately see if the range is correct. A nice entry-level camera for anyone who wants to combine wildlife management or outdoor observation with simple operation.
