The M-TAC TYPE 25 is a lightweight folding knife designed for everyday carry (EDC) and a variety of daily tasks. Its well-designed construction, quality materials, and modern design make it a reliable everyday tool. The 3.8 mm thick blade is made from D2 tool steel with a hardness of 60–62 HRC. D2 is known for its excellent wear resistance, strength, and long-lasting edge retention, making it well suited to demanding everyday use. The handle combines durable G10 scales with carbon fiber, providing a strong and rigid construction with good resistance to mechanical stress. The G10 scales offer a secure grip, while the carbon fiber adds rigidity and helps keep the handle lightweight. CNC machining and finishing provide a precise, high-quality finish. A ball-bearing pivot system provides smooth, fast blade deployment and a fluid opening action. The handle is also equipped with a pocket clip for convenient everyday carry on a pocket or gear.
