For those who want to refine the shooting feel of a Tikka T3, the Timney Two-Stage trigger is a direct step forward. The design works with two separate stages: the first has a fixed trigger pull weight of 227 grams, the second is adjustable between 454 and 1360 grams. This brings the total trigger pull weight to a range of 680 to 1587 grams — broad enough to tune the trigger precisely to your preference.
Besides the trigger pull weight, the sear engagement and overtravel are also adjustable. This lets you determine how the trigger feels and responds, which benefits the consistency and precision of your shots. Installation is simple and requires no gunsmith.
Please note: installing the trigger will disable the safety function of the bolt.
