HikMicro Thunder 3.0 Clip-On TQ50CL Thermal Riflescope (without reticle)

The HikMicro Thunder 3.0 Clip-On TQ50CL is a thermal imaging viewer without reticle, designed to be mounted as a clip-on to an existing riflescope. This allows thermal images to be viewed directly through the riflescope — convenient for those who want to continue observing in poor lighting conditions without purchasing an entirely new optical system.

The sensor operates at a resolution of 640x512p and a pixel pitch of 12 µm. This small pitch means that pixels are closely spaced together, contributing to a detailed image. The thermal sensitivity (NETD) is 15 mK: even minimal temperature differences are detected this way, allowing objects to be clearly visible. The image is displayed on an OLED screen of 1920x1080 pixels with a refresh rate of 50 Hz — comfortable to look through for extended periods.

Six color modes are available for different conditions:

• White hot
• Black hot
• Red hot
• Red monochrome
• Green monochrome
• Fusion

The objective has a diameter of 50 mm. The field of view at 100 meters is 15.4x12.3 meters, and the thermal sensor has a detection range of 2600 meters — more than sufficient for observation at great distances.

On the top of the housing are buttons for operating the camera function: taking photos and recording videos with audio. Additionally, the TQ50CL features a recoil activation function: as soon as recoil is detected, the device automatically records a short video of the shot. Recordings are saved in the internal 64 GB memory. Via the hotspot function you can easily transfer files to a smartphone, and with the streaming function a second screen can watch live.

Also built in are a ballistic calculator and a rangefinder with a range of up to 1000 meters. The measured distance is immediately passed to the calculator, so that the correct point of impact is calculated — useful for those who consider accuracy at varying distances important.

The housing is certified according to IP67: completely dustproof and resistant to submersion in water up to one meter depth for a maximum of 30 minutes. The weight remains limited to 540 grams. The replaceable and rechargeable Li-ion battery provides six hours of operating time.
