The design was developed by combining field experiences and range results with ballistic testing via Doppler radar — with the goal of achieving the highest possible ballistic coefficient without compromising impact power.

Each slug is forged, which ensures consistent density, a high degree of uniformity and a smooth finish. The tangent ogive and carefully finished meplat (front) together deliver a ballistic coefficient of 0.081.
