Voor wie een betrouwbare richtkijker zoekt met een strak tactisch uiterlijk: de VictOptics S4 4-16x44 MDL Black is vervaardigd uit slagvast 6061 T6 aluminium met een matzwarte coating. Het objectief heeft een diameter van 44 mm, het oculair meet 35 mm en de oogstand bedraagt 96 mm. De vergroting loopt van 4x tot 16x. Dankzij fully multi-coated lenzen is de lichtdoorlaat optimaal, wat een scherp en gedetailleerd beeld geeft — ook wanneer de lichtomstandigheden tegenvallen.
De hoogte- en zijturrets bieden elk een stelbereik van 15 MRAD, met klikstappen van 0,1 MRAD per klik. Beide turrets zijn standaard in de vergrendelde stand; je trekt ze uit voordat je ze kunt verstellen. Op de linkerzijde van het frame bevindt zich de parallaxturret. Intern is de kijker volledig gevuld met stikstof, zodat de lenzen aan de binnenkant niet kunnen beslaan. Met een IPX4-certificering is het geheel plensdicht: besproeiing met water levert geen schade op.
