Vector Optics Forester 1-8x24 VFD-3 Riflescope - Black

The Vector Optics Forester 1-8x24 VFD-3 – Black is a riflescope with a housing made of black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum: shockproof and corrosion-resistant. With a weight of 531 grams, it adds little to your rifle. The tube diameter is 30 mm, the objective measures 24 mm. Fully multi-coated lenses deliver sharp, clear images for precise aiming and observation.

The magnification range runs from 1x to 8x, providing a wide field of view across the entire range. At 1x magnification, the field of view is 35 meters at 100 meters distance; at 8x it is 4.9 meters at the same distance. This makes this scope suitable for both short and mid-range situations — a common choice for sport shooters seeking flexibility.

The VFD-3 reticle with illuminated dot is positioned on the second focal plane, so the reticle dimensions do not scale when zooming in. The illuminated dot works at eleven brightness levels, adjustable via the turret on the left side of the housing. This ensures aiming remains effective in changing light conditions. For illumination you use a CR2032 battery.

The turrets offer a maximum adjustment range of 60 MOA, with an adjustment of ½ MOA per click. The eye relief ranges between 105 and 120 mm. The housing is completely nitrogen-filled, preventing condensation on the inside of the lenses and keeping the scope clear even with temperature fluctuations.
