Vector Optics Continental 2-12x50 Riflescope

The Vector Optics Continental 2-12x50 is a riflescope with a housing made of matte black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum — a material known for its impact resistance. The tube diameter is 30 mm, so the scope can be mounted to various rail types with the correct mounts. At the lowest magnification of 2x, it offers a field of view of 21 meters at 100 meters distance, which is wide enough to maintain a broad overview. If you want to zoom in on a spotted target, the maximum magnification of 12x provides a field of view of 3.5 meters at 100 meters — sufficient for accurate aiming at distance.

The reticle is a German #4-type and is located on the second focal plane, so it remains the same size at every magnification setting. In the center of the crosshair is a red illuminated dot with six brightness levels, so the reticle remains clearly visible even against dark or busy backgrounds. Switching between these levels is done via the turret on the left side of the housing; the required CR2032 battery is also housed inside it.

Both the elevation turret and the windage turret offer a maximum adjustment of 140 MOA. Each click — clearly audible and tactile — represents ¼ MOA, which makes precise and quick adjustments possible. The lenses are fully multi-coated, resulting in a clear and sharp image across the entire field of view. The 50 mm objective lens allows sufficient light through for use in varying light conditions. Nitrogen filling prevents internal lenses from fogging, so the image remains clear at all times.
