Vector Optics Continental 1.5-9x42 Riflescope

The Vector Optics Continental 1.5-9x42 is a versatile riflescope with a housing made of matte black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum — robust enough for intensive field use. The tube diameter is 30 mm, allowing it to be mounted on various rail types with the correct mountings. A common choice for hunters and sport shooters seeking a broad range of applications in one scope.

At the lowest magnification of 1.5x, the scope offers a field of view of 28 meters at 100 meters distance — plenty of room to quickly gain situational awareness. Once you have located the target, you zoom in to 9x, at which point the field of view is 4.6 meters at 100 meters. This makes it usable from close range out to medium distance.

The reticle is a German #4 crosshair, positioned on the second focal plane, meaning it does not magnify when zooming. A red illuminated dot with six brightness levels ensures the crosshair remains visible against varying backgrounds. You switch between brightness levels via the turret on the left side of the housing; the CR2032 battery for the illumination is located in that same turret.

Both the elevation turret and the windage turret have a maximum adjustment of 140 MOA. Each click — clearly audible and tactile — represents a correction of ¼ MOA, making precise adjustment simple. The fully multi-coated lenses deliver a clear and sharp image across the entire field of view. The 42 mm objective allows sufficient light through, and the nitrogen filling prevents internal lens fogging, even with fluctuating temperatures.

The housing is IPX6-certified for water resistance, so the scope can be used without problems in wet conditions without risk of water ingress.
