Element Optics Iris 4-12x44 Riflescope

Anyone looking for a lightweight hunting scope with a familiar design will quickly arrive at the Element Optics Iris 4-12x44. The tube diameter is 1" and the objective measures 44 mm; together with the fully multi-coated lenses, this delivers a clear image, from 4x to 12x magnification. Compact in size and lightweight: a pleasant combination for use in the field.

Adjustment is done in MOA. Each click moves the aiming point ¼ MOA and one full rotation of the turret amounts to 12 MOA. Both for elevation and for windage correction you have 65 MOA of adjustment range. The parallax is fixed at 100 meters — a logical choice for hunting applications, and it saves weight compared to a scope where you have to adjust the parallax yourself.

The housing is made of aluminum and lasts a long time. Water, dust and impacts do not affect the scope, and thanks to the nitrogen filling, the lenses do not fog up on the inside. The turrets are protected with caps that you can easily twist off. Additionally, you get two transparent lens caps that protect the glass, for example against rain; if you prefer not to use them, the scope works perfectly without them as well.
