Shooting Target Caldwell AR500 Rimfire KYL Challenge

The Caldwell AR500 Rimfire KYL Challenge shooting target is built around a simple yet challenging concept: Know Your Limits. Eight targets, increasing from left to right from 2" to ¼" in diameter, form a sequence where you determine how far you go. Each hit target scores one point, with a maximum of eight points per round — but if you miss, the entire score for that round is forfeited and you start over. The game requires you to be honest about your own accuracy. Have you hit four targets and doubt the fifth? End the round and take the four points with you. Whoever has the highest score at the end has best estimated their limits. A popular choice for shooters who want to measure their skills in a competitive way.

Setup and breakdown are quick: the frame consists of thin steel tubes that are connected to each other via polyurethane coupling pieces. The targets are made of AR500 steel, suitable for rimfire ammunition. A yellow powder coating makes the discs highly visible on virtually any terrain and also provides rust protection.
