Vector Optics Frenzy-X GenII Red Dot

The Vector Optics Frenzy-X GenII is a red dot with an aspheric lens — a design that significantly reduces spherical aberration. While an ordinary lens doesn't always converge light rays at the same point, the aspheric design delivers a clear, sharp image without blurred edges around the dot. Combined with the multi-coating on the glass, this provides vivid colors and good contrast, even in difficult lighting conditions. Installation is via the supplied Weaver/Picatinny base, so you can attach it directly to an accessory rail.

Reticle
The reticle of the Frenzy-X GenII works with a dot size of 3 MOA and offers eleven brightness levels: nine for daylight use and two for night vision. This makes it broadly suitable for different lighting conditions. The adjustment range is 45 MOA, and each click represents a 1 MOA adjustment — audibly confirmed, so you always know how much you've adjusted.

Efficient battery usage
Power comes from a CR2032 battery that can be changed via the side. This means the red dot can remain mounted on the rail during a battery change, so you won't need to re-zero it. At the lowest brightness level, the battery achieves a lifespan of 50,000 hours. Additionally, the Frenzy-X GenII is equipped with a motion sensor: after two minutes of inactivity, it automatically shuts off, and brief movement turns it back on. A useful feature that keeps power consumption low.

Housing
For the housing, Vector Optics uses a 7075 T6 aluminum alloy — a material known for its strength and impact resistance. Water resistance is certified according to IPX7, which means immersion to a depth of one meter for a maximum of 30 minutes causes no water ingress.
