The handle is made of stainless steel, finished with a wear-resistant titanium nitride coating. Thanks to the layered milled edges, the knife sits comfortably and securely in your hand. The front of the frame features an elegantly finished carbon fiber inlay. A lanyard hole is also included, and the deep carry pocket clip lets you comfortably carry the Fringe deep in your pocket.
The blade is also made of 8Cr13MoV steel, a type that Kershaw frequently uses: hard (HRC 57-59), resistant to corrosion and easy to sharpen. Like the handle, the blade received a wear-resistant titanium nitride coating. Opening is done with one hand via the flipper or thumb rest, with the SpeedSafe assisted opening system providing a firm push. Once open, the blade locks firmly in the frame lock. A solid choice for anyone who wants a reliable folding knife they can carry daily.
