Two applications in one device: that's what you get with the HikMicro Cheetah Clip-On 850 nm IR night vision viewer without reticle. Use it as a monocular and you'll spot game easily handheld. Remove the eyecup, mount it as a front attachment in front of a regular scope and you transform it into a night vision scope. The version without reticle is designed for countries where a reticle is not permitted.
What stands out with this broad range of applications is how easy the viewer remains to use. For any time of day you can rely on four adjustable modes:

That last one, the fog mode, really stands out. HikMicro developed its own optical solution for this that takes infrared detection in foggy conditions to a high level. Detection reaches 400 meters thanks to the 2560x1440 UHD sensor, supported by the built-in 850 nm infrared lamp. On the 1920x1080 OLED display you then get a detailed image with a frame rate of 25 Hz — a standard choice for those who want to rely on sharp imagery in the field at night.
Power comes from a rechargeable battery, and because it has a USB-C connection, you can also connect an external power source. The device records photo, video and audio, with 64 GB of internal storage. Handy for that: recoil activation is supported, so the rifle's recoil automatically starts a recording.
