With the HikMicro Cheetah 850 nm IR night vision scope you look through a 2.7-21.6x magnification, supplemented with a digital zoom that works in four steps: 1x, 2x, 4x and 8x. The device is comfortable to use and zeroing in goes smoothly. You aim, fire a shot and aim again; via the zoom & freeze function you move the crosshair to the point of impact, and with that the Cheetah is zeroed in.
What makes this device widely applicable is the ease with which you use it throughout the day. For that you have four modes at your disposal:

That last one deserves extra attention. HikMicro has significantly improved infrared detection in foggy conditions with its own optical approach. Aided by the internal 850 nm infrared lamp, the 2560x1440 UHD sensor achieves a detection range of 400 meters. On the 1920x1080 OLED display, this delivers a detailed image with a frame rate of 25 Hz.
Power runs via a rechargeable battery, and because it has a USB-C connection, you can connect an external power source if desired. Recording is also possible: photo, video and sound are written to the 64 GB internal memory. Useful for shooters is the support of recoil activation, whereby the recoil of the rifle automatically starts a recording — a common choice for those who want to capture their shots.
