Want to mount a scope reliably on your rifle? With the Rome Decumanus M1 30 mm Medium Weaver/Picatinny mount, you can do that, and you can immediately equip your weapon with all kinds of accessories. Handy is the spirit level at the front: at a glance you can check whether the mount sits straight on the scope rail. Because that spirit level remains continuously in view for the shooter, you adjust where necessary. In the centre of the mount you will also find a slot for a wedge. If you slide it in, you align the scope exactly in line with the mount.

To secure it, the mount has plenty of screws. On the Weaver/Picatinny scope rail you attach it with four screws; the scope itself you secure with no fewer than twelve screws, six per mounting ring. Each screw is marked with a number indicating the best tightening sequence. Those six screws per ring distribute the pressure evenly, so the scope sits firmly and squarely.

Finally, there are multiple connection points: on top of the mounting rings and on the right side of the monobloc. They are marked with letters and intended for extra accessories.
