During rapid consecutive shots, a sound suppressor can heat up significantly — and that creates a problem. Warm air above the suppressor causes what is known as a mirage effect: a shimmering air distortion that disrupts the line of sight and makes aiming difficult. The Ulfhednar Miragecover MK3 was developed specifically for this problem. The cover slides easily over the suppressor and has a diameter of 50 mm. The material is Cordura, a sturdy fabric that is tear- and wear-resistant and repels water, allowing you to use it in virtually all conditions. A common choice for precision and competition shooters who fire many shots in succession.
