Impact-resistant 6061 T6 aluminium has been chosen as the base material, featuring a black anodised coating that better protects the adapter against wear. The result: even after prolonged use, the component retains its neat appearance.
The set includes two parts: the actual adapter and a thread protector with a knurled surface for extra grip. Installation is as follows. The front of the barrel shroud on the Huben GK1 is closed by an end cap. Loosen it with an Allen key, then the thread at the front end of the barrel becomes accessible and you can fit the silencer adapter. Next, you screw on a silencer with 1/2x20 thread, or you simply leave the thread protector in place. A practical solution for GK1 owners who want to choose their own silencer.
