The M1 Garand is one of the most famous rifles from World War II — and Goatguns has recreated this icon as a detailed miniature on a 1:3 scale. After assembly, which takes about five to ten minutes, you end up with a length of 33 cm. The stock has a wood grain finish; the rest of the construction is metal. Functionally, there's also plenty to enjoy: the front sight is adjustable in height via a rotary knob, the trigger works and the bolt can be pulled backwards. If you do the latter, the dust cover of the ejector opens and the dummy cartridge in the chamber becomes visible. Included is a clip with eight dummy cartridges, which you can simply load into the miniature. As a finishing touch, the model features a rifle sling made of genuine leather — a common choice for collectors who value authentic details.
