Loading is moreover smooth. Turn the transparent cover completely counter-clockwise and let a pellet or slug drop in from the bottom into the last opening; this puts the magazine and spring under tension. That tension ensures you can turn the cover back and forth to neatly align the loading hole with each opening. You fill it in one fluid motion, without having to keep holding the cover in place — handy for those who shoot a lot in succession.
