De Prometheus EG inner barrel voor de Krytac LVOA-C is vervaardigd van hoogwaardig, stijf roestvrijstaal en heeft nauwe toleranties van +/- 0.01 mm. De binnendiameter van 6.03 mm (buitendiameter 8.5 mm) zorgt voor een strakke passing van kwaliteits-BB's, waardoor drukverlies minimaal blijft en de BB gelijkmatig wordt afgedicht. Het resultaat is een consistent en accuraat schietgedrag.
Qua ontwerp is de loop gebaseerd op de gerenommeerde lopen van Tokyo Marui. Door het stijve roestvrijstalen materiaal vervormt hij beduidend minder snel dan een originele loop — een gangbare upgrade voor schutters die de prestaties van hun Krytac LVOA-C willen verbeteren.
