Met een binnendiameter van 6.03 mm en een buitendiameter van 8.5 mm biedt de Prometheus EG inner barrel voor de Krytac LMG/CRB een zeer nauwkeurige passing voor kwaliteits-BB's. De toleranties liggen op +/- 0.01 mm, waardoor drukverlies minimaal blijft en de BB consistent wordt afgedicht — met een aantoonbaar accurater schietresultaat als gevolg.
Qua ontwerp sluit de loop aan op de bewezen lopen van Tokyo Marui, maar het materiaal is hoogwaardig, stijf roestvrij staal. Dat maakt hem beduidend minder gevoelig voor vervorming dan een standaard originele loop. In de set zitten twee O-ringen inbegrepen — een gangbare keuze voor sportschutters die hun Krytac willen opwaarderen.
