The material is stainless steel — a deliberate choice. Stainless steel is stiffer than brass or aluminium, the materials most inner barrels are made from, and therefore deforms less quickly with rough use. Moreover, stainless steel has a lower coefficient of expansion. When the barrel heats up from intensive shooting, the effect on accuracy remains limited as a result. A common choice for sport shooters who fire many rounds.

Besides the material, the dimensions play a major role in performance. The inner diameter is 6.03 mm with a tolerance of only +/- 0.01 mm; the outer diameter is 8.5 mm. The finish is executed at a high level. At the end of the barrel, the inner diameter tapers slightly, so pressure decreases gradually rather than dropping suddenly — which prevents instability at the muzzle.
