Harmonic Barrel Tuner FX 1/2 UNF

With the Harmonic Barrel Tuner from FX Airguns (½ UNF) you tune the barrel of your air rifle to the ammunition you use. Every barrel makes an oscillating movement during the shot — and by adjusting that vibration frequency, you can noticeably improve the accuracy of your air rifle. Previously, the only way to influence this was by varying the ammunition velocity; with this tuner you tackle it directly at the barrel.

Tuning a barrel is not an exact science with fixed formulas — it's a matter of trial and error. By adjusting the Harmonic Barrel Tuner setting step by step, you'll see the shot groups become smaller at the moment the barrel vibrations come into harmony with the chosen pellet or slug. The markings on the tuner ensure that you can always find and reproduce a setting you've discovered. The tuner is suitable for air rifles of caliber 4.5/.177 mm up to 7.62/.30 mm, provided the barrel is equipped with an external ½ UNF thread. Three double-threaded adapters are included in the set — in 5.5 mm, 6.35 mm and 7.62 mm — which you screw into the tuner. A ½ UNF silencer can then be mounted on those adapters.
