With the Wiley X XL-1 Advanced Comm 2.5 Grey/Clear/Rust Black Frame you get a shooting glass with a black frame and a removable foam seal on the inside. That foam seal sits snugly around your eyes against the skin and keeps wind, dust and sunlight entering from the sides out — handy as soon as you're outside. Shooting indoors? Then you simply click the foam seal out and wear the glasses without it.

The glasses stay firmly on your nose thanks to rubber nose pads, and rubber is also fitted at the ends of the temples. This means nothing slips and the glasses won't just fall off even during hectic moments. Because the temples are made extra thin, you can wear them perfectly together with, for example, ear protection or headphones.

What makes these glasses widely applicable are the three sets of supplied lenses: a clear, a grey and a light rust-colored set. With these you're covered for virtually every lighting situation.

The clear lenses let all light through and serve mainly as eye protection and as a shield against wind. During early morning hunting hours they are for that reason an excellent choice.

Is the sun shining brightly during the day while you're doing sports or hunting? Then swap the clear lenses for the grey ones. They absorb all colors equally, so you perceive your surroundings just as you would without sunglasses — ideal for preventing glare.

For conditions with little or no light, you use the light rust-colored lenses. This orange-tinted glass blocks the majority of blue light, which helps against glare.
