Sound Moderator FOX Silencer 600 Over Barrel

Are you working with an air rifle that delivers a lot of energy? Then the FOX Silencer 600 Over Barrel offers a well-thought-out design of Dutch manufacture. Thanks to an internal recess of 80 mm, you can slide it (partially) over the barrel and screw it in place there.

What makes this silencer special is its interior: it is — baffles and all — milled from a single piece of high-quality aluminum. Deformation by pressure waves is therefore ruled out, and the cleverly designed baffle structure makes loose silencing material unnecessary. Such material loses its effectiveness over time due to the influence of pressure waves and oils.

That interior milled in a single piece — in itself an impressive feat of craftsmanship — means the silencer consists of no more than three main parts: the interior which you screw directly onto the barrel, the sleeve and a lock nut. O-rings sit on the transitions; assemble them with a little acid-free grease so that everything remains airtight where necessary.

Assembly is simple and requires no tools: just hand-tighten onto the barrel. Keep in mind that the impact point may shift slightly, which applies to any component behind the barrel muzzle. Therefore, re-sight in your weapon after installing a sound suppressor.

In terms of dimensions, the FOX Silencer 600 Over Barrel measures 245 mm in length with a diameter of 40 mm. It is suitable for air weapons up to an energy of 600 Joule — a logical choice for shooters who work with powerful weapons.

Note: the barrel over which you slide this silencer must have an external diameter of no more than 18.5 mm. If you want more clearance, an experienced person can turn down the Delrin on the inside, which increases the opening to a maximum of 20.5 mm.
