The hunting knife was once a widespread thrusting weapon for hunting, today it mostly serves representative purposes as part of hunting and forestry uniforms. The double-edged, dagger-like blade is made of stainless steel. Selected deer horn is used for the handle, and a stainless steel handguard ensures safety. Supplied in a high-quality saddle leather sheath.
The Hirschfanger has a full tang construction. The tang in the handle is 112 mm long. The blade is 5mm thick and 35mm wide.
