The Gastrock company has been producing walking sticks since 1868 and is now run by the sixth generation of the Gastrock family. Since then, the product range has been constantly developed both technically and aesthetically, without losing sight of the company's roots.
Hunting is one of humanity's oldest passions. Artisanal art

The craftsmanship of stick making, which Gastrock masters, is and remains something very special. It takes more than 30 steps to create the finished hiking stick. Cleaning the wood, soaking it with steam, bending it hot, straightening it, sanding it, polishing it, flaming it and painting it: all of that is part of it and still determines everyday work at Gastrock today. The know-how is maintained and passed on carefully.

All Gastrock sticks are made by hand and taking into account the highest quality standards. This creates products that meet high standards and are also extremely durable. Each piece is unique.

Special sticks

A Herzensangelegenheit is the production of robust and solid special sticks for hunting. The lovingly made target sticks with real deer horn forks or the hunting sticks “Praktus” and “Pirschsitz” are very well known and widespread among hunters because of their robustness and traditional style.
Gastrock outdoor products are among the premium items for this Markt area. The production of natural sticks from local wood - from our own plantation - is the root of the company. What has remained to this day is the high-quality, natural workmanship.

• Local support – the wood that is processed is primarily selected and purchased from the surrounding forests
• own plantation - a large proportion of the raw materials are harvested from our own approximately eight hectare plantation in the immediate vicinity of the production company, especially for natural stock production (chestnut, ash, hazel, blackthorn, sour cherry, oak)
