GunCer - gun oil with ceramic additives

The term GunCer is made up of "gun" for weapon and "cer" for "ceramic". Gun-Cer Waffentuning with ceramic particles is a high-tech gun oil from Ballistol and was specially developed for precision shooters, hunters and law enforcement. GunCer is suitable for all long guns and handguns.

Ceramic additives ensure the functional performance and shooting accuracy of the weapon and reduce wear, among other things by smoothing roughness depths. The high-tech ceramic additive is stored in the surface roughness of the metal and thus ensures a completely smooth surface structure. The roughness of the metal decreases significantly, which in turn results in a significantly lower resistance. Especially with smaller calibers or weak ammunition, surface roughness can even lead to jamming. With other ammunition, roughness "only" negatively affects the precision or accuracy of aim. By using GunCer these problems are eliminated.

In this way, Guncer ensures not only excellent corrosion protection but also the lowest possible resistance and thus maximum shooting precision. In addition, the ceramic particles ensure first-class dry lubrication at temperatures of over 1000 °C.

GunCer smoothes the sliding surfaces and lubricates the bearings. Especially with self-loading weapons, the required ease of movement is achieved and malfunctions are almost impossible. The high-tech gun oil reduces performance losses when reloading and is particularly recommended for weak ammunition, as this can easily lose precision due to the normal roughness depths in weapon steel.

Temperature range and emergency running properties of GunCer

The temperature range of gun oil is from -40 °C to +210 °C. The small ceramic particles create a so-called emergency running property that even reaches over 1000 °C. Emergency running property means that the ceramic particles take on the "lubricating function" even when there is no more oil.
