Element Optics ETX Red Dot

Compact and lightweight — the ETX red dot from Element Optics is suitable for mounting on handguns, among other things. Two buttons, one on each side of the housing, give you full control over the settings: brightness, the shake-to-wake function and automatic brightness adjustment. These same buttons can be locked, so you won't accidentally adjust anything during a competition.
A total of 10 brightness settings are available: 8 for daytime use and 2 for night conditions. If you choose automatic brightness, the sensor at the front reads the ambient light and selects the correct setting itself. The shake-to-wake function switches the red dot to standby mode after 120 seconds of inactivity. Together, these two functions provide a battery life of up to 42,000 hours — a common choice for shooters who want to maintain their sight as little as possible. If the battery still needs to be replaced, it can be done via the top of the mounting plate, without removing the red dot from the weapon. No recalibration is necessary afterwards.
Mounting is possible in two ways: via the built-in Trijicon RMR mounting system, or with the included Weaver/Picatinny adapter.
