The Hunters Specialties Johnny Stewart Executioner is an electronic caller with 100 pre-programmed calls, divided into ten categories. A handy overview of what's on board:

The housing is robustly constructed and has two fold-out legs on the underside. On top of the unit is a carabiner hook, allowing you to hang the caller at height as well. The controls on the unit itself are deliberately kept minimal: a power on/off button on the right side and a covered port for a lure on the left side. All other functions are controlled via the included remote control.

The remote control features a 2.4 inch color display with five brightness levels, allowing you to read it clearly in varying lighting conditions. Use the arrow keys to browse through the available calls. The maximum volume of the caller is 120 dB. Communication between the caller and remote control is via radio frequency, with a range of up to 275 meters (300 yards). At the bottom of the remote control is a wrist strap, so you always have it at hand.

For quick access to your most-used sounds, the Executioner offers a favorites function: you can save up to 24 calls as favorites and access that folder directly via the favorites button to the left of the display. It's even faster with the four Quickset buttons on either side of the display — you assign your most-used calls to these buttons, so you can play them with a single press without navigating. Additionally, you can set multiple calls to play in sequence one after another, making the caller a versatile tool for the active hunter.

The caller runs on eight AA batteries, to be placed in the battery compartment on the rear. The remote control requires four AA batteries.
