Do you want unlimited dry fire training without damaging your room? With the Walther SSP .22 LR dry fire training buffer, you prevent the firing pin from hitting the chamber during practice. The principle is simple: the buffer blocks the firing pin spring so it cannot fully extend. As a result, the rimfire firing pin never comes all the way forward and the chamber remains out of reach. This way you can train as long and as often as you want, without wear or damage. Installation is done from the front of the SSP, where you will find two screws just below the barrel. The right screw below the barrel — viewed from the front — houses the firing pin spring and must be unscrewed. You then screw the dry fire training buffer in that location. A handy addition for sport shooters who want to practice a lot with their SSP.
