DNT NVMD-C200 Standard Multi-Purpose Night Vision Scope

Four functions packed into one optical device: the DNT NVMD-C200 standard multi-purpose night vision scope works as a digital sight, as a clip-on night vision scope, as a front-mounted magnifier and as an action camera.

Digital sight with day and night function

If you want to use the NVMD-C200 as a digital sight, you choose the type and color of the reticle yourself. With focus and diopter adjustment, you sharpen the image, and you can increase magnification in steps up to 6x. You have the choice of different image modes:

• Black and white: provides extra contrast at night and is therefore the night choice.
• Color image: for daytime use, with natural color reproduction.
• Green phosphor: digital display that mimics the green image of classic green phosphor night vision equipment.
• White phosphor: digital display in the blue-white scheme characteristic of analog white phosphor night vision equipment.

Which mode shows the targets most sharply depends on the conditions — in each situation you get the best contrast this way.

Clip-on night vision scope

If you place the DNT NVMD-C200 standard multi-purpose night vision scope in front of your sight, it acts as a clip-on. If you don't need night vision, you can remove it just as quickly; you can also reattach it just as fast.

Front-mounted magnifier

The compact design and flip-up mounting of the DNT also make it suitable as a front-mounted magnifier. You can adjust magnification here in six steps, and with night vision mode included, you immediately get the benefits of a clip-on. Whether there's plenty of ambient light or very little: you have plenty of flexibility.

Action camera

You record images on the internal 32 GB memory, including sound as standard. You can do this in three ways. For all three: when the memory is full, the device deletes the oldest recordings to make space.

• 'Loop recording': makes short clips of a predetermined length; once that time is up, it saves the video and immediately starts a new one — as long as you don't turn off the function.
• 'Recoil activated video': records a fragment when recoil is detected, ranging from 10 seconds before to 10 seconds after the shot. A recoil impulse heavier than that of a .22 LR works best here.
• Standard recording: one press of 'Record' starts recording, a second press stops it, and after 10 minutes it stops automatically anyway.
