Compressor AEA 480 bar

The AEA 480 bar compressor is designed for quickly filling pneumatic air reservoirs of airguns. The maximum fill pressure of 480 bar is well above what most PCP rifles require — most reservoirs are around 200 bar — allowing you to fill them with ease. Two power supply options are included: an A/C cable for use with a wall outlet, and starter cables to connect the compressor to a car battery. This makes it also usable outdoors.

On the front side there is a large switch with a sticker indicating what each position is for.
• Position 1 is for regular power connection with an A/C cable and wall outlet, as well as with a car battery and the included starter cables
• Position 2 is for when you attach a separate battery to the compressor

Select the correct switch position and set the desired fill pressure via the display. Below the display are four control buttons: a SET button, an ON/OFF button, a plus button, and a minus button. You control everything with these. The SET button gives access to the settings:
• By holding the SET button for 3 seconds and then pressing the plus button, you can switch between bar and PSI.
• By holding the SET button for 3 seconds and then pressing the SET button again, you can use the plus button to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius

Once the display is set as desired, set the fill pressure by holding the plus button and the minus button simultaneously for 3 seconds. Then adjust the pressure with the plus or minus button. Next, connect the hose — which is clamped at the top — to the pneumatic air reservoir and start the compressor with the ON/OFF button.

The compressor fills quickly and has a built-in auto-stop function for safe use. The display shows the pressure, temperature, and duration of the current fill session. When the compressor reaches 35°C/95°F, the fan automatically turns on and continues running until the temperature drops below 30.2°C/90°F. If the temperature rises to 71°C/160°F, the unit shuts itself off to cool down.

On the side there is a bleed valve with which you can drain the moisture that the filter has removed from the air. The model operates completely oil-free, which significantly reduces maintenance.

Please note: Airguns have pneumatic air reservoirs that can withstand a certain amount of bar. Since the maximum fill pressure of this compressor is considerably higher, it is important to check the maximum fill pressure of your pneumatic air reservoir. Set this fill pressure correctly on the AEA 480 bar compressor before using it.

Please note: This compressor is not suitable for filling pneumatic air bottles, only pneumatic air reservoirs of an airgun. We also recommend using this compressor in combination with the 'Dry Pac Hill Compressor Pro Air Dryer Filter' so that the air is filtered before it enters the cylinder.
