The MDT XRS – Remington 700 SA – Black is a chassis with a core of 6061 aluminum, supplemented with textured polymer panels on the sides. These panels give the rifle a firm grip in changing weather conditions and make the whole package pleasant to use. Connection points for attaching a rifle sling are provided at the front of the forend and on the underside of the buttstock.
As for magazine compatibility: the chassis is designed for AICS magazines (Accuracy International Chassis System). AICS magazines are known for their precise cartridge alignment with the rifle's chamber, ensuring consistent and reliable feeding. This makes the chassis a solid foundation for shooters striving for repeatable precision.
The buttstock offers multiple adjustment options. The cheek rest on top is adjustable in height, allowing the eye to be correctly aligned with a scope. The LOP can be adjusted by adding or removing spacers at the buttpad. The forend features M-LOK slots on both sides and on the underside, allowing the chassis to be expanded as desired with various accessories.
