The MDT Oryx chassis for the Remington 700 SA in FDE is constructed from black anodized 6061 aluminum — a material that resists corrosion well and provides the necessary rigidity for long-range rifles. MDT Defense has made the chassis compatible with AICS magazines (Accuracy International Chassis System), a common choice for those who value consistent cartridge feeding. These magazines are specifically designed to align the cartridge precisely with the rifle's chamber, resulting in reliable and repeatable feeding.
The foregrip features multiple M-LOK slots on the underside, allowing you to easily mount a bipod or attach the whole unit to a tripod. Diagonal grooves run along both sides of the foregrip, providing extra grip. The AR-style grip fits the hand well, and the buttstock is comfortable to use. Using spacers, you can adjust the LOP to the most suitable shooting position. On top of the buttstock sits a cheek riser whose height can be adjusted with an Allen key.
