For shooters who want to move the balance point of their rifle further back, this MDT stock weight is a practical solution. The weight of 295 grams is placed in the stock and provides better balance and reduced recoil — a combination that can make the difference in precision shooting.
The weight is made from surface-hardened steel, which provides a robust exterior that is resistant to wear from friction and impact. An indentation is made on the underside so that M-LOK accessories can continue to be used after the weight has been mounted.
Installation is as follows: remove the stock plate, slide the weight into the lowest recess and secure it with the supplied screws. A small amount of blue Loctite can help with this. Complete the installation by replacing the stock plate. Compatible with the SRS, SRS-X, SRS-X Premier and SRS-Short from MDT.
