The housing is finished in black anodized aluminum and is mounted on the scope rail via a Weaver/Picatinny attachment. Once mounted, the bright blue bubble is always easy to read. If you keep the weapon properly level, your bullets will follow a similar trajectory on follow-up shots and you'll hit your target more consistently.

How does that tilting work? A projectile first bends slightly upward after leaving the barrel and then drops back down due to gravity. If your rifle is tilted, that upward part of the trajectory shifts left or right, depending on the direction the weapon is leaning. A level helps you position the rifle straight each time, so your results remain reliably consistent.
