De UTG Pro US Made Recon MD1 bipod is opgebouwd uit 6061-T6 en 7075-T6 aluminium met een matzwarte anodiseerlaag als bescherming. Waar de belasting het hoogst is, zorgt staal voor extra stevigheid — zo ook bij de staal-op-staal pootvergrendeling, die bestand is tegen intensief gebruik.
