For a stable shooting position, the Rome Caliga bipod is a solid choice. Manufactured from black anodized aluminum with stainless steel screws, it weighs only 870 grams. Assembly is quick thanks to the Quick Mount connection, which fits on any Weaver/Picatinny accessory rail — attached or removed in a jiffy.
Both legs are adjustable in length between 17 cm and 26.5 cm, with rubber feet on the underside for extra grip on the ground. The angle adjustment of the legs proceeds in steps through five positions: press the button on the outside, adjust the leg one position, and repeat until both legs have the desired angle.
In addition to the leg angle, the tilt angle of the mount itself is also adjustable, which indirectly allows you to control the angle of the rifle. The bipod is freely adjustable over an angle of 15 degrees. A lever on the rear locks or unlocks that tilt directly — handy for those who want stability without sacrificing maneuverability.
