Bipod Rome Basis Maximo

Are you looking for an advanced version of the regular Basis bipod? That's exactly what the Rome Basis Maximo offers. For the construction Rome chose black anodized aluminum, finished with stainless steel screws, while the whole thing remains light at 588 grams. Mounting and removal is quick: via the Quick Mount you click it onto a Weaver or Picatinny rail. For shooters who change their setup frequently, a handy feature.

At the bottom are two legs that you adjust in length, each with a rubber foot that provides grip. The length ranges from 18 cm to 25.5 cm. Adjustment is done stepwise over five positions: press the button on the outside and move the leg one position further. You repeat this same action until both legs are at the desired angle.

Not only the legs, but also the mount itself can be tilted, with which you essentially determine the angle of the rifle. Over a range of 15 degrees it moves freely, and with the lever at the rear you lock the tilt in place or release it again. Furthermore, the mount provides a lateral movement of approximately 18 degrees. The result is a stable support while you remain maneuverable.
