Barrel Tuner Shroud FX

With the FX Barrel Tuner Shroud you tune the vibration frequency of your barrel to the projectile you're firing. A barrel makes an oscillating movement during shooting — by adjusting that movement, you can significantly improve accuracy. Previously, that was only possible indirectly, by playing with the velocity of the pellet or slug. The FX Barrel Tuner Shroud makes it possible to adjust the barrel itself directly.

For harmonic tuning there are no fixed calculation formulas, but the shroud does give you the means to adjust the oscillation step by step until it is in balance with your chosen pellet or slug. The shroud itself already has a damping effect and is equipped with an adjustable weight at the end, the position of which is adjusted by turning. Adjustment is an empirical process: you make adjustments, shoot groups and see if the patterns get smaller — a sign that the barrel vibrations are in harmony with the projectile fired.
