If you want to better match the shot from your air rifle to your ammunition, the Eagle Vision barrel tuner with muzzle brake & air stripper ½ UNF – Silver offers a convenient solution for that. A barrel makes a vibrating movement with each shot, and it is precisely that frequency that can be adjusted with the barrel tuner. If you adjust that, you gain noticeably in accuracy. Previously, this was only possible by varying the speed of the ammunition; with this all-in-one tuner you adjust it directly on the barrel. Tuning is done by trial and comparison: mount the tuner, shoot a group, adjust a setting and shoot another group. You repeat this until you've gone through every setting. Which setting produced the tightest group, you can read off effortlessly from the clear markings on the barrel tuner. Because the best setting varies per pellet or slug, you shoot test groups again as soon as you change caliber.

In addition to tuning, this component also serves as a muzzle brake and air stripper. On both sides you will find six elongated slots, three on each side. The resulting air pressure is thereby directed to the sides, so that recoil decreases and you hold the air rifle more quietly and stable.

For use with different calibers, you receive four caliber adapters as standard. They can be changed quickly and sit firmly in place afterwards. These are the following adapters:
• 4.5 mm (.177)
• 5.5 mm (.22)
• 6.35 mm (.25)
• 7.62 mm (.30)
You tighten it via the eight holes at the front of the air stripper. Mounting is possible on any barrel with ½ UNF thread — a practical choice for shooters who want to fine-tune their setup themselves.
