Don't want to adjust your elevation turret quickly without counting clicks? With this ballistic turret from Vector Optics you can do it by eye. It belongs to the Vector Optics Continental Hunting riflescope and was specially made for it. The construction consists of a base with zero marking and scale division, plus four numbered rings (2 to 5) equipped with an arrow marking. For hunters and shooters who want to correct distance quickly, this is a handy addition.
Setting it up is simple. First determine your zero point at 100 meters and set the elevation turret in that position. Then remove the turret and slide the base of the ballistic turret into place — make sure the zero point coincides with the indication.
Calculate how many clicks are needed for 200, 300, 400 and 500 meters using a ballistic app, or determine it empirically. Then position the corresponding rings correctly, secure everything and your Vector Optics Continental Hunting ballistic turret is ready to use.
