Thermal Riflescope HikMicro Thunder 2.0 Clip-On TQ35CR

The HikMicro Thunder 2.0 Clip-On TQ35CR is a thermal imaging attachment that you mount on an existing riflescope. With a weight of 538 grams (without battery) and M52 x 0.75 threads, it connects to various adapters. The heart of the system is a 640x512 thermal sensor with a pixel pitch of 12 µm. Combined with an NETD of less than 20 mK, it delivers highly detailed thermal images on a 1024x768 (0.39-inch) OLED display with 50 Hz framerate. You adjust focus via the dial on top of the device. Heat differences are observable at distances up to 1800 meters — useful for those who want to work at longer ranges.

You can capture images in two ways: manually via buttons on top of the TQ35CR, or automatically via recoil-activated recording. This latter function detects recoil and captures a short video with audio at that moment — handy for hunting, so you don't miss a moment. All recordings and photos are stored on the built-in 16 GB eMMC. If you have the free HikMicro Sight app on your phone, files are also automatically transferred to your device.

Via the HikMicro Sight app you can manage the thermal imaging scope settings remotely and review stored photos and videos. After a one-time pairing, the connection is quickly established.

The built-in Li-ion battery provides up to 6.5 hours of runtime on a full charge. When the battery runs out, you can simply swap it or recharge it. If you want to conserve battery, use standby mode — which can be switched on and off via buttons on top. In total, the TQ35CR has five buttons with the following functions:

Power button:
• Short press: Activate and deactivate standby mode.
• Hold down: Power on/off.

Mode button:
• Short press: Switch between color modes (white hot, black hot, red hot, fusion).

Capture/Record button:
• Short press: Take a photo.
• Hold down: Start/stop video recording.
• Functionality in the (quick) menu: Move cursor upward.

Menu button:
• Short press: Go to the quick menu.
• Hold down: Go to the expanded main menu or exit the menu.
• Functionality in the (quick) menu: Confirm selection.

Display button:
• Short press: Show or hide detailed information on screen.
• Functionality in the (quick) menu: Move cursor downward.

Built for outdoor use: the TQ35CR is recoil-resistant and carries an IP67 rating. This means the device is completely dustproof and can withstand temporary submersion up to one meter deep for a maximum of 30 minutes.
