The HikMicro Neos NE25 is a thermal scope with a sensitive sensor and a sharp price — making it an accessible choice for those purchasing a thermal scope for the first time.
The sensor has an NETD value of <18mK, which means that even small temperature differences are detected. This is valuable in poor visibility conditions, where the contrast between a target and its surroundings is limited. The sensor resolution is 256x192 pixels, and the image is refreshed at 50 Hz — allowing moving targets to be tracked smoothly. The display uses a 0.49" AMOLED screen.
The detection range extends to over one kilometre. The digital magnification is adjustable between 3.5x and 24.5x, so you can adapt the image as needed. Focus is adjusted via the focus ring; the screen itself is sharpened with the diopter.
Recording is also possible: videos are stored in internal memory and can be transferred to other devices. Useful is the recoil activation: the scope automatically captures a clip that starts just before the shot and ends shortly after, so both the shot and the impact are recorded.
