Tripod Vanguard Vesta Go 234 AV10

The Vanguard Vesta Go 234 AV10 is an aluminium tripod that you can use for both spotting scopes and cameras. Its weight of 1.5 kg and folded length of 43.4 cm make it a convenient choice for field use or travel — a popular model among sport shooters and hunters who spend a lot of time on foot.

The fluid-damped head offers pan and tilt movement, providing smooth motion in horizontal and vertical directions. Thanks to an adjustable counterbalancing spring, the head remains stable at the set angle, without needing to hold an operating arm or use a locking wheel. Vibrations in the image are greatly reduced. For quick and reliable attachment of a camera or scope, the head is equipped with a QS-55P quick-release plate, compatible with universal Arca-mount. A built-in spirit level helps with horizon alignment.

The aluminium legs have a diameter of 23 mm and are adjustable in length via flip-lock closures up to a maximum height of 150.8 cm. Three angle settings — 20°, 50° and 80° — give you flexibility in use. The central column contains a built-in short column that is removable and can be attached separately to the base. This allows you to work at low positions: the minimum height is 22.6 cm, making standing, sitting and lying-down use possible. The central column also has a removable hook for extra ballast, which increases stability. Rubber feet provide grip on the ground. The load capacity is 3.5 kg.
