Tripod Manfrotto Alpha Shot Aluminium - Grip Kit

Versatility is central to the Manfrotto Alpha Shot Aluminium – grip kit tripod. The universal clamp accommodates a wide range of rifles and is lined with rubber on the inside: this protects your weapon against damage and provides extra grip. Remove the clamp and you're left with a mounting base where you can attach a camera. This allows you to use this tripod for more than one application — handy for shooters who want to make broad use of their equipment.

Trigger & Friction
The distinctive feature is the diagonal grip that extends far forward, with a trigger at the front. Squeeze it and the mounting on the pan head releases and the whole unit moves completely freely — plenty of room to aim quickly. The grip also contains an adjustment knob for friction: turn it smoother and you gain maneuverability; tighten it and you get stability and precision back. A disadvantage of this free movement is that the rifle doesn't hang perfectly straight by itself, which can affect the accuracy of your shot. Manfrotto solved this with a built-in spirit level, which lets you see at a glance how straight the mounting and rifle are.

Adjustable legs
Maneuverable and stable: you get that combination from the three sturdy legs, each adjustable in length. With the leg clamps you fix them at the desired height, from 760 mm to a maximum of 1770 mm, and the aluminium keeps the whole thing light but strong. Rubber feet under the legs provide grip on various surfaces. If you want to anchor the platform even more securely, you can hang extra weight from the hook at the bottom of the mounting. With a load capacity of 8 kg, the tripod is suitable for virtually any rifle.
